Working alongside Cheshire West & Chester Council, Chester School Sport Partnership & Ellesmere Port School Sport Partnership, we’re aiming to reinvigorate the concept (previously known as our much-loved Golden Mile programme) by supporting schools to offer regular walking & running activity which benefits children and staff alike.
Our approach through Smile for a Mile will be to start with schools simply offering a consistent physical activity as part of their school day … but that’s only the start – our 2024/25 event programme includes Smile for a Mile festivals and back in school the possibilities for Smile for a Mile are endless, as shown in the booklet!
